Either that, or I'm getting drunk enough not to care. LOL!

Yeah, I believe abalone is either endangered, or getting scarce at the very least. But asians, to have good face, don't care how much they have to pay for the opportunity to show off. We as an ehtnic group, esp. first generations, are not that much into saving the world. Sad commentary, isn't it?Epicure68https://www.blogger.com/profile/03563085474360693183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21765090.post-22992170682661584312007-09-19T09:51:00.000-07:002007-09-19T09:51:00.000-07:00As a card-carrying stove-o-phobe, anyone helping m...As a card-carrying stove-o-phobe, anyone helping me in the kitchen is a blessing.

I see abalone was mentioned in the Chinese buffet. I thought it was endangered. Do you know anything about that?Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03085505273580117262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21765090.post-20542080568596938652007-09-13T19:01:00.000-07:002007-09-13T19:01:00.000-07:00Good for you Rosie! Even our friend, altho he's a fussy eater in some ways, at least he does eat ethnic, so I forgive him. ;-)

I'm taking Accounting for the Manager as part of my HR certificate. I figured I've done some fun courses (well as fun as it gets in HR) so I might as well get one of the really boring ones out of the way. I'm so not into finances.

Check your local school board; if they're anything like ours, they offer night time courses on a variety of things, including ethnic cooking.

Like Shades said, her DH is a fabulous cook, and Shades makes some wicked cinnamon buns and baguettes, amongst other things.

Boy, I wish you lived closer cuz I finally forced the last of the pork down my throat, and I really didn't enjoy it.Epicure68https://www.blogger.com/profile/03563085474360693183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21765090.post-83808227884869964442007-09-13T12:32:00.000-07:002007-09-13T12:32:00.000-07:00I'm a lousy cook, Rosie. I'm wanting some sauerkraut with pork chops right now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21765090.post-60705001765404178672007-09-12T05:06:00.000-07:002007-09-12T05:06:00.000-07:00I like ethnic foods too. I thought about taking a few courses next year, but I don't know if anything culinary is offered on the night program. You and shades sound like you're great cooks that I would love to have dinner with!Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15078132042757629690noreply@blogger.com
