Like a kid in a candy store

DH and I went to Ming Wo today, the idea he had was to buy me a martini shaker. I had seen one once, and should've bought it and just kept it for prosperity, even though at the time I didnt' drink maritinis. It was one where it didn't just list some mixed drinks, but you actually turned it to find the right drink. Okay, that doesn't make sense, but it looks like this. Too cool, huh?

Anyway, they didn't have any like that there, but who can come out of a cooking store empty handed? So, we bought two colanders, a towel holder, and a funky curvy long dish that holds olives. Well the olive dish is a start, isn't it?

Hey, I have seen that shaker thingy. Pretty neat. I am like that at flea markets. I can't leave without something. I emailed those directions to you . Hopefully it is what you were looking for.

I did a bit of research on the 'Net when I got home. Apparently those shakers are for novices. Gee, how'd they know we'd get suck into things like that? I guess I don't go to very good flea markets (actually, I haven't been to one in ages), but I don't find their stuff very appealing.

Thanks again for the instructions, they were great. Now to go do other wild things...once I figure it out.

Cooking stores...oh droool. Hey, you should have held off on the olive dish; my kids could have made you one in ceramics class! In fact, I could have given you my incense holder to use as an olive dish. Dh won't let me burn incense; says they cause air pollution. Can't argue with a scientist. Dang.

Oh, p.s. I just loooove martini glasses. I want to use them for everything. I want to get a cool set, but I have no cupboard space for them. Guess I'll have to get rid of those Arby's holiday glasswares that I pilfered from my MIL. :>

That's okay, you'll love my olive dish, it's very funky. The only problem is to figure out where to store it when I'm not using it.

Can I get you a set of martini glasses for your bday? You know what's best in martini glasses? Bellinis! Yum!
Or you ask for more cupboard space.

Saaay, didn't I post already that I would love to have the martini glasses for my bday (or did I e-mail you?)? I believe I said something about wanting you to help reorganize my cupboards when you visit. ;>
